James
I’ve had a passion for flying ever since a young age. It all started with Flight Simulator 2004 and even to this day, whilst being an Airline Captain, I still thoroughly enjoy the world of Flight Simulation.
This dedication led me to complete my first solo flight on my 16th birthday whilst earning my Private Pilot License at White Waltham Airfield.
After finishing my Commercial Flight Training at CTC Aviation in 2012, I started flying the Airbus A320 for easyJet. I then became a Captain on the A320 at London Heathrow and I have since moved to the Boeing 777.

After completing my first trial flight as a teenager in a PA28 at Fairoaks, I was lucky enough to work part time at the airfield. I commenced Commercial Flight Training in 2014 at CTC Aviation where I completed the BSc in Professional Aviation Pilot Practice in parallel.
I started my commercial pilot career with a major airline based at London Gatwick and I now fly the Airbus A320 based at London Heathrow.
I’m a member of the Flight Crew Training Group at the Royal Aeronautical Society and have spoken at their conferences on the importance of training for all pilots in non-jeopardy situations, hence my particular interest in supplementing training flights with simulator based practice.

Since a young age, I’ve had a fascination with all things flying. This led me to self-fund my Private Pilot License whilst still at college. I then became the Flight Centre Manager at Fairoaks Airport.
After completing my Commercial Pilot License I undertook a variety of flying roles including aerial photography, pleasure flights and air taxi work. I then joined Flybmi on the Embraer 145 before starting to fly short haul routes operating out of London City Airport.
